    Owner, Senior Stylist

    Owner and Founder of Paragon Salon, has developed a reputation as an exceptionally skilled stylist. His expert technique, combined with personally inspired styles, create a special, customized look for every client. Joseph's accumulation of experiences, from New York City to Los Angeles and having spent many years at Van Michael Salon in Atlanta has evolved his talents into one of Atlanta's top stylists. Joseph desires to give clients a relaxing laid back atmosphere where they could feel at home and not feel intimidated by their stylist or their surroundings. This commitment to his clients is the catalyst to the birth of Paragon Salon. Joseph's passion to his craft, along with his amazing dedication to the feel and ambience of the space, has led Paragon to the ultimate level of client service. His vision for looking into the future will continue to profile him as a leader in the hair industry.

    Lead Stylist

    With 12 years of broad industry experience, intense education and a never-ending passion for his craft, J.R. brings a fresh, modern edge to his love for classic style. A modern, southern gentleman with a cutting technique refined by intense Sassoon, Bumble and Bumble and Rene Furterer training, paired with skilled color techniques gained from his time spent with some of the nations top color educators, J.R. delivers a gorgeous, unique and consistent result for each and every client. His warm, personable nature pays compliment to his exceptional level of talent and skill.

    Senior Stylist

    Crystal's passion for the Hair and the Beauty Industry has given her the needed edge to deliver exceptional service with the utmost integrity. Crystal attended the prestigious Xcell Hair Academy, where she trained under some of the industries top seasoned professionals. Her advanced training in various color techniques, hair cutting, styling and overall knowledge of bringing it all together to achieve the desired result has made her the sought after stylist she is today. Crystal also has an undeniable passion for the art of Thermal Reconditioning, also referred to as Japanese Hair Straightening. She has advanced training in Liscio, one of the most popular Thermal Reconditioning products on the market. Her passion coupled with her overall knowledge in understanding curly, wavy, frizzy and unruly hair gives her the ability to utilize her skills to transform the hair without compromising its overall integrity for a truly amazing end result.

    Senior Stylist

    Sandor Vukotich graduated from the Toni and Guy School. He trained under a top 5 producer at Van Michael Salon. After mastering their training program and the Sassoon classics collection, he was given the opportunity to work at fashion week in Paris. He truly understands what women want. He is a third generation hairdresser and grew up in the industry. With an eye for beauty and healthy hair, Sandor enjoys working with long layers, but definitely loves to create stylish short cuts as well. With a wealth of product knowledge, Sandor can certainly create a custom beauty regimen for each client who sits in his chair.

    Celebrity Stylist

    Clifford Doyle began his study of cosmetics, fashion, and hair at the young age of 13years old. He moved on to become an international model and hairstylist. Clifford Doyle is known for his healthy extension technique known to some as, "extensions that grow," extensions that help natural hair grow longer, healthier, and fuller. His list of celebrity clients include: Michelle Williams (Destiny's Child), Corri McFadden (House of Consignment), Karyn Calabrese (Vegan restaurant owner and Hollistic teacher Chicago Illinois), Deborah Cox, Monica Watkins(model), Skylar Starks (model), Chef Peter Vandermey (celebrity Chef), Latoya London (American Idol), Feather Magee (Coming to America), Drew Sidora (The Game, Never Die Alone), Stephanie Simon (Coming to America), and Shawnna (Rapper).   • Beri Driscoll

    Stylist

    Beri was raised in Virginia Beach and attended the Governor's School for the Performing Arts. He went on to complete his degree at University of the Arts in Philadelphia. After completing his successful dance career, Beri attended Paul Mitchell the School in Orlando, Florida. He joined the Paragon team in January of 2012. Always looking to further his education, Beri has studied with American Crew, a leading men's cutting academy, The Doves in Santa Monica, California for Wella Color, and trained under lead stylist John Robert Thurmond. Beri's cheerful outlook and fun personality translate into his work on a daily basis. When you sit in Beri's chair, it's all about you!

    Client Services Coordinator

    Born and raised in upstate NY, then moving to Atlanta via Florida, Matt adds 12 years of service and hospitality experience to YOUR salon. He also lends a big smile, positive attitude and personable charm to the Paragon family. After recently leaving Marriot, he chose to join our team and is excited to explore any and every new opportunity offered to him; Including an apprenticeship to become one of Paragons own Stylists, let him be at your service!

  • Brittany Pool

    Client Services Coordinator

    Brittany started out at Paragon as a loyal client. After years of never finding the right stylist, she was ecstatic when she finally found a home in the amazing staff at Paragon in 2005. A part-time student at Georgia State University, Brittany began working as a client services coordinator at Paragon in November of 2009. She is studying Telecommunications and Film and hopes to graduate in late 2012. She can be heard on the air at Georgia State's 100,000 watt radio station, 88.5fm Album 88. Her true passion is music, and she has been performing professionally for as long as she can remember. She grew up in a musical family and was given a microphone at a very young age. She is a singer in the family group the Harrington's, who landed a management and publishing deal in 2006 and performs around town regularly.

    An artist herself, she relates to the stylists at Paragon and is ever impressed with how they make hair their canvas. After graduation, Brittany hopes to land a job in radio or television production, but will always remain a loyal member of the Paragon Family!

    • Malaysian Sewins$300 and up

      Malaysian is one of the most magnificent sew-in methods available. The attachments are smooth, flat and comfortable. The unique service is performed utilizing an intricate threading method to add intermingling wefts quickly and comfortably, without braids or sticky adhesives. This method will also provide long lasting length, volume, highlights and fullness. This process takes approximately 1.5 – 2.5 hours, and with routine maintenance visits should expect a 2-3 month wear time.

    • Invisilocs*$1500 and up

      This doctor recommended technique allows clients with fine to medium textured hair to experience volume and length with out the use of heat, glue, braids or clips. This patent pending method involves a bi-locking sealing system that is less damaging on the hair than other methods. The process takes approximately 3-4 hours and, with routine maintenance visits, clients should expect a 4-5 month wear time.

    • Sewins*$300 and up

      This is a wonderful option for individuals experiencing hair loss or those who want to allow their hair to rest to protect it from heat styling. Small cornrows are braided onto which hair wefts are sewn. Process can take 2-4 hours to complete and can last up to 6 weeks depending on shampooing schedule. This process is recommended for clients wanting to add length or thickness. Hair may not have the versatility to be worn in a ponytail.

    • Clip Ins*$150 and up

      This method is one of the fastest techniques available for applying extensions. Average application time is 1-2hrs. This method allows the client to have instant length, bangs, or highlights without the commitment. This is an option for individuals wanting to add length for special events such as weddings or graduations or to create a temporary look lasting from a few days to a week. You may choose to wear braids or flat twist under clips for extra security. It is recommended to remove extensions prior to shampooing and re-apply after natural hair is dry.

Appointments

Our Commitment

At Paragon, we realize the value of your time and do our very best to run on schedule. We are all aware of unforeseen circumstances that occasionally present themselves. These circumstances can and will occasionally throw you or us off schedule. We do not operate from a double standard here at Paragon; therefore, if we are running a few minutes off schedule, we will attempt to contact you as soon as possible to let you know in order to minimize any waiting time.

We also adhere to the same cancellation policy that we request of you. If we need to cancel and/or reschedule your appointment, we will do so within the same time frame that you have been allotted, or we will incur the same service fees of which will be applied as credit toward your next visit.

Cancellation Policy

Time is precious. Once it is lost it cannot be replaced.

We reserve our time based specifically on your request, as well as the time needed for desired services. If, for any reason, you must cancel or reschedule your appointment, we require 48 or 72 hours notice depending on the service(s) scheduled. This cancellation time frame is based on the total time we have reserved on our appointment book for the service(s) you requested. If the timely notice for cancellation is not received, a 50% service fee will be assessed.

When reserving multiple hours for specialty services such as 
Keratin Treatments, Thermal Reconditioning, etc., we will request a deposit in order to schedule the appointment. Specialty services like these have a 72 hour cancellation policy because of the amount of time reserved on our appointment books. In the event that we do not receive a 72 hours notice for cancellation, a forfeiture of your initial deposit will be applied towards lost time and another deposit will be required upon any rescheduling. Similarly, Hair Extension clients will be requested to pay a nonrefundable deposit upon scheduling their appointment, which also covers the cost of the hair that will be provided for the service. The Hair Extension service also requires a 72 hour cancellation. If we do not receive the stated timely cancellation for Hair Extension appointments a service fee of not less than 25% of the service cost must be assessed due to loss of time.

Child Policy

To maintain the tranquility of each client's salon experience, we request that you do not bring children into the salon unless they are receiving a service.

Appointment Day

Please arrive on time for your scheduled appointment as not to compromise the allotted time for your service and the services of others. We do realize however that unforeseen circumstances do arise, therefore if you do arrive late we will make every effort to accommodate you without compromising the services of other clients. If you find you are running late we ask that you give us a courtesy call so that we can plan accordingly. If there is simply not enough time avoid compromising the services of other clients you will need to be rescheduled and a 50%25 service fee will be charged.

Minimum Hourly Rate Per Stylist

Per stylist minimum hourly rates apply based on hair density, length, texture, condition, service rendered and excess time needed to specifically address your hairs individual requirements. These are only minimums set to fairly compensate for additional time needed to accommodate clients whose needs surpass our stylists normally scheduled time allotments. If you feel your hair may require additional time please check with our service advisers for your stylists "minimum" hourly rate. This is only a minimum and cannot be used to determine the total cost of services rendered.

- Turn right and follow the drive up the ramp which will lead you right to our door at the top of the ramp. Customer parking is on this level.

- From I-75/I-85 South take exit 84 (17th, 10th & 14th St. exits).

- Follow the 10th St. exit and turn left onto 10th St.

- Proceed down 10th St. about 1/4 mile and turn right onto Juniper St.

- The entrance to our building's (Viewpoint) parking garage is located midway between 6th & 7th St. on Juniper, on the right hand side.

- Turn right and follow the drive up the ramp which will lead you right to our door at the top of the ramp. Customer parking is on this level.
